What a busy time! I truly have not stopped since Shane and Jen's wedding! And there is really no sign of slowing down either! This is the crazy month!

Hi all!

I actually went to the Frankford Riverfest last night, after I thought I wasnt. I had a great time, lots fo fun, that's for sure - And I took lots of pictures - BUT - you will have to wait to see them as I took them on the internal memory in my camera, and have to find the cord to transfer them over. Lots to see!

Today I am leaving to go to Toronto for Shane and Jen's Wedding. I am very excited - and I am already emotional. I will be a mess at the ceremony! Such is life.

I have a headache - go figure - and I still have to pack so I had better go.

Hey ya!

You can tell it has been a busy time for me, can't ya? IT is 10 pm and it is the first I have sat down at the computer! I must admit, though, that I have been enchanted by my new adopted son. I will take a picture of him soon. He is very cute, and furry. Yes, he is a hamster, and yes, I bought him for the kids, but I discovered a love that only Woody Allen and Soon Yi can understand! LOL I do adore the little bugger. You will too.

Long weekend is here! Shane and JEn are getting MARRIED ON SUNDAY!!!!!

I still cant believe it!

It will be "My best friend's wedding" with out the drama and make up.

I cant wait!

Yesterday, around 2am, my friend Paula's grandfather died. Ralph Weaver and his wife Virginia were married 67 years, and she passed away less than two months ago. He truly died of a broken heart. When I look back at my life, and see it for what it is, I am saddened. What do I have? Two beautiful children - god I love them - and a wonderful supportive family. But what I wouldn't give to have a true love like that of the Weavers. I mean, don't get me wrong, I am sure they had their ups and downs, but married for 67 years. I didn't make it to 10 years. What is my destiny? What will my obituary read? I will never know, I guess. Unless I write it myself, then live my life to make it come true. That is always an option, but how realistic is that?

Hello, is it me your looking for?

Ahh, my friends, I have been neglecting you all! I must admit that I have been well since Wednesday and still did not write. Forgive me!

I have had a rotten day, but it seems to be getting better. I have found what seems like a fabulous man on eharmony, but who knows....? We are just getting to know each other right now. Anyone can look great on a computer screen! But he does live in Ottawa......

Tupperware party was interesting. Thank God I have Elaine! What a sweetheart! I brought her in some of the nacho dip we made and loved, 'cause she deserved it! Thanks doll!

My left foot hurts.

Shane's big Wedding is coming soon! MY DRESS IS READY!!! I will get it tomorrow night!

All day crop on Sat! I am helping John run it as Paula is super busy with other commitments. I hope I can do a good job!

I do like this one! You might think I only have one child, though, so I best put one up of the little man, too. That one is from Christmas. You can't ever say that my son is not affectionate!
Guess what? Jann Arden is getting her on star on Canada's Walk of Fame, or whatever it is that we call it! I think she is getting it on June 3rd, as well as Pamela Anderson and Brendan Frasier! I am seriously considering going up there to see her. I cannot wait to hear what she has to say to Pammie!
Eldon Garrett has received the Catholic Educator of the Year award and I couldn't be any happier!http://www.alcdsb.on.ca Gareth and Eldon are very good friends - he often will visit the Garretts as a reward for great behavior. Well, the funny thing is that Gareth was selected to go the the big mass in Kingston where they presented it to Eldon. When he got home, I asked him if he had seen Mr Garrett get his big award (we didn't know until that day...) and Gareth said "What? Mr Garrett was there?" I laughed out loud! Too funny - I think he was focused on going to McDonald's on the way home!

Well, I am off to watch Memoirs of a Geisha with my neighbor. My review will follow shortly!

Lots of pictures!

I should be in bed, and I am tired, but I had a burst of energy! Here are some photos from the last month or so. The first one is Sarah, today, for the family lunch at St Marys. What you can't see is that not long after the photo was taken, she got really clingy, and upset when I left to go back to work. she threw up, got a fever, and had to have Grandma come and get her.

The next few pics are from Jen Connor's (Shane's soon to be bride) bridal shower! It was a very nice day. The cake, as you can see, was amazing! What a beautiful couple! And Sarah had a ball! Shane's mom had us making hats, and Jen had to judge them! She put on the one that Sarah and I made, and she makes that hat look good!

Kids are of to their dad's again this weekend. I will be at the Belleville Small Business show on Saturday. I am not to sure where it is, to tell you the truth, but I will know soon as I check my email from Paula!

Where does the time go?

It's May already and I have been sooooooo busy! Beavers, Sparks, CWL, Work, meals - all these things have kept me on the go! I really look forward to Thursdays as I know things settle down for me.

I am very excited to be able to have lunch with "Magoo" tomorrow! I tried to surprise her, but she cried big time when I told her I couldn't go. It is only by the grace of God that it worked out. I hope to remember my camera, so that means you should see pictures of that soon, too. All these promises of pictures.....

Not to much today folks, slim pickin's as they say!
