Surprise!!!

Well!
I can honestly say that I have never been so surprised in my entire life! Really, truly surprised!

I went up to Ottawa for a fun weekend with Cori and Darren, and when I get there, Cori tells me that our big event has been cancelled! So, instead she wants me to paint with her. Which I do like, but I was really looking forward to the trade show! So then, Darren passes me a Chatelaine magazine and tells me that page 288 has some painting techniques that we should try. I didn't really think much at this point, so I put the magazine down next to me. Well, the two got a little hostile (LOL) and insisted that I look at the paint style. Well, I opened the mag and found that page 288 was an advertisement for the "My Life, My Way" tour staring JANN ARDEN! I was going to this conference with Cori! Happy Birthday to me!!!! It was great! Ellie Ruben, a personal life coach, started out the morning with lots of great ideas and stategies. Then after lunch, it was time for Jann. And of course, we got their early enough that we were in the front row! I didn't feel the urge to rush the stage when she came out. I had already had such a personal moment with her, in PTBO. Not to say that I wouldn't try again to meet her, but it wasn't urgent. So, thank you big sister and big brother in law, you truly surprised me. Not an easy thing to do. I love you both.

Oh yeah! It starts!!!!

BIG BROTHER 7 will be starting up soon!

Woo hoo!

I am very excited! Anyone who knows me knows that I watch very little tv, but when it comes to BB or Survivor - I'm there!

I so don't want that idiot Janelle to be on! What a moron! "I'm the buxom blonde!" Tee hee hee... go jump off a bridge!

Lots of great people coming back, though. Glad to see chicken George! What a character! Marcellas! Love him! Bunky, the gay bald crying guy! Love him! Can't wait!

Vote today, and don't pick Janelle!

Off to Ottawa this weekend! On the train! Maybe I will meet my soulmate there, sitting in the seat across from me. Our eyes will meet, the train will shake, and he will land in my lap...

Presenting..... Gareth Thomas!!!!!!!

Here is (hopefully!) the video of Gareth at the St. Mary Talent Show. I was sooo proud of him, and I cried just a little. Where did he get the courage to do it alone?

Here are his impressions, in case you can't recognize them.
A chicken, a monkey, a horse (watch for the foot stomp...) MY FAVORITE.... the T-Rex (check out the little dino arm action!) and a cat! Originally, the T-rex was the big finish, but he got a little excited! His teachers were really proud of him too!

Crazy storm!

Here are some pictures of the crazy storm that we had last night. The clouds were really frightening and awesome to watch, as they were moving so quickly. I could see two different air flows moving towards each other. Then the rain came! It was something to see - hope you enjoy!

I truly have so many things to update you on, but it will have to wait, but I can upload a few pics for you, and I will attempt to upload the video of Gareth at the talent show. It was amazing!


Croptopia was awesome, and I can never look at Paula's heaping busoms the same way, knowing where her sling has been!
Camping with the Grade 7's was amazing too, even though the weather was less than perfect. I will post a few pics from that another time, but obviously the good shots are of the kids having fun, and I cant post those! I love my job!
Gareth's bithday went very well. It was truly a marker by which I measure success. Last year no one showed up at his party. This year, 4 boys, and Dennis and Tracy (and kiddies too) came. He had a ball. So did I.

Busy busy busy!
Lots to update you on, but where to start! Gareth is turning 7 soon, and his party is coming up on Sunday! If you can make it, please do! We would be so pleased!
The little man was in Ottawa on the weekend for his first train ride! He loved it, as did Sarah a few weeks ago. I will post pictures of the two of them. Also, I went to the science centre with some of my kids from school. We had a good time, but boy do I hate those darn school buses!
Went to Croptopia! WOO HOO! Farm theme... as you should guess by the pigtails! I also loved my oatmeal long time! LOL Kids loved the circus, but I didn't love the money grab that was there. We got them an elephant ride, as you can tell. Not to sure what else to say, but I will upload some pictures for you all!
