Thanks for the memories....

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you are celebrating with someone you love. I am!

I slept well after my night out with the daiquiri 6 (which was 8 for the evening....) and had a lovely time watching the kids sing in the choir at church. They both did great! No fights! LOL

We had some lunch, and had a nap.... okay, I had a nap on the chair... and then the kids and I went on a walk for nature items to decorate with. We found lots, including some cows corn stalks for outside decorations! Dinner was yummy and we all said what we were thankful for. We missed Cori and Darren, but we knew they were having a good time with Pauline and Zelly.

After dinner we played Sorry! Sarah pouted and eventually quit... just like I did so many times when I was her age. Payback! We watched Extreme home makeover and Sarah went to bed. Gareth and Shari are, as we speak, watching the football game. Dad would be so proud!

Father figure

2 years ago today, my dad left us. He didn't want to, but he had too. I miss him so very much. It hurts alot.

I am really beginning to hate the fall. It is such a beautiful season, but I view it with pain. Darren lost his Dad, we lost our dad, we lost Leah, and now, Cori is not well. I know she will pull through all this, but Lord, can we have a break?

So, today is Dad's day.

I love you and miss you and would give anything to have you back.
